Texans HC DeMeco Ryans breaks down Jaguars' playing style ahead of Week 6

Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans provided an analysis of the Jacksonville Jaguars' playing style ahead of their Week 6 matchup. The Jaguars, currently leading the AFC South, recently secured a thrilling victory in London by returning a kickoff 53 yards and kicking a game-winning field goal in just eight seconds. Their standout player, Parker Washington, contributed significantly with six catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns.

Ryans highlighted the Jaguars' play style, emphasizing their dynamic and versatile approach. He noted their ability to move their front effectively, apply pressure, and maintain flexibility in their playbook. Offensively, the Jaguars have been successful in converting third downs, which has been crucial in sustaining drives and keeping them on the field. Head coach Liam Coen has led the team well for the second consecutive year, and Ryans praised their accomplishments thus far.

Houston has historically had success against the Jaguars, winning two-thirds of their matchups, including 13 out of the last 16 games. A win against Jacksonville would be a significant boost for the Texans' playoff hopes. The game is scheduled to kick off at 8:30 a.m. locally on NFL Network.
