President Aoun holds talks with PM in Beirut

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met with Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister in Beirut to discuss strengthening ties and easing regional tensions. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani conveyed greetings from Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, wishing President Aoun good health and prosperity for Lebanon.

Aoun reciprocated, expressing hopes for Sheikh Mohammed's success and Qatar's ongoing development. The pair explored avenues for enhancing cooperation between the two nations and reviewed recent events in Lebanon and the broader region. They also delved into strategies to reduce escalating tensions and foster security and stability in the area.

Sheikh Mohammed underscored Qatar's steadfast commitment to Lebanon's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, reaffirming Doha's unwavering support for the Lebanese people.
