Man Utd a circus after Martinez comments - Keane

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has described the club as "like a circus" following defender Lisandro Martinez's criticism of the club's hierarchy. Martinez's comments came after United's 2-0 Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid, which extended their winless streak to five games. The Argentina international had expressed frustration at the lack of squad strengthening in the summer and called for more investment from technical director Jason Wilcox.

Keane's assessment of the club's current state reflects the mixed reactions from fans, with some praising the statement while others believe Martinez is letting the team down, particularly given his recent poor form. Keane believes that players should focus on their own performance before criticizing the club's management. Martinez clarified that his outburst was out of anger and frustration, and United have the option to extend Martinez's contract by another year at the end of the season.
