Keyamo mocks claim Tinubu’s APC speech was pre-recorded

Festus Keyamo, Nigeria's Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has dismissed allegations that President Bola Tinubu's speech at the recent inauguration of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council was pre-recorded. In a post on X, Keyamo questioned the premise of the claim, pointing out that the event was covered live by both local and international press.

He recalled a previous conspiracy theory from the Buhari era alleging that Muhammadu Buhari had died and been replaced by a clone, suggesting that similar illogical claims were becoming more common among opposition figures. Keyamo expressed amazement at the assertion, stating he was unsure whether to laugh or cry. Tinubu officially inaugurated the council on Wednesday, setting the stage for the party's preparations for the 2027 general election.

The council, chaired by Tinubu, includes Vice-President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda. The inauguration brought together party leaders and other political figures to coordinate the President's re-election campaign.
