How motorists can renew expired tinted glass permits online – Police

Motorists in Nigeria can now renew their expired tinted glass permits online through the Police Specialised Services Automation Project (POSSAP) portal. The Nigeria Police Force has made this digital renewal process available to vehicle owners via their official website, https://possap.gov.ng. To initiate the renewal, applicants must log into their accounts, click on the 'Profile' icon, select 'Service Request,' and then choose 'Renewals.'

The system will display a list of all expired permits associated with the account. Applicants can then choose the specific permit they wish to renew and click on 'Actions' followed by 'Renew Permit.' Two verification options are available for applicants: physical inspection via the SIB/FIB option, or virtual verification through the VVS system by submitting necessary documents.

Once verification is complete, users must click 'Generate Invoice & Continue' and make the payment. Upon successful payment, authorities will process and approve the renewal request. The Nigeria Police Force encourages the use of the official portal and advises contacting their support team at [email protected] or by calling 02018884040 for any further help.
