Christian Yelich is reminding everyone that the job isn't complete, even though the Milwaukee Brewers have taken a commanding 3-0 lead in the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. In the post-Game 3 interview with MLB.com, Yelich emphasized that Milwaukee must still win one more game to secure its first World Series appearance since 1982. The two-time defending champions Dodgers are not to be underestimated, boasting a strong roster, pitching staff, and a reputation for success.
Yelich, who has only played in one game of the NLCS so far, has been starting exclusively against right-handed pitching. In 23 plate appearances throughout the 2026 MLB postseason, Yelich has managed a .350 batting average and an .835 OPS. Despite not always being in the lineup, the veteran knows exactly what to expect during the postseason and is a respected leader for the Brewers.
With the first pitch of Game 4 scheduled for 8 PM ET at Dodger Stadium, Yelich and the Brewers are looking to sweep the series and secure their spot in the Fall Classic.
