Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez admitted that his angry outburst against the club’s leadership was fueled by frustration following their loss to Atletico Madrid. The Argentine player questioned the club’s lack of investment in the summer transfer window, expressing disappointment with technical director Jason Wilcox's recruitment efforts.
However, Martinez clarified that his remarks stemmed from his desire to see United competing for major titles, not a lack of commitment. Despite the controversy, Martinez reaffirmed his support for the team and emphasized the collective responsibility to strengthen the squad.
