Walker Kessler made an immediate impact for the Los Angeles Lakers in their preseason game against the Golden State Warriors. After missing the first three preseason games due to a finger injury, Kessler suited up for the match against the Warriors. Head coach JJ Redick had assured earlier in the season that Kessler would be playing, and he indeed did so on Tuesday.
Kessler demonstrated his value right away, splitting two Warriors defenders, Charles Bassey and Yaxel Lendeborg, with a power dribble. This move opened up space for him to score his first bucket with the Lakers. Kessler's ability to navigate through defenders showcased his potential as a valuable addition to the Lakers' roster.
