Support for Tinubu’s re-election unprecedented in Nigeria’s history — Soludo

Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has hailed the support of 33 state governors for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid as a historic milestone. Soludo, the national leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, stated this at the party's Presidential Campaign Council inauguration in Abuja. He emphasized that this unprecedented political consensus reflects a strong desire to sustain economic reforms and promote national unity, security, and shared prosperity.

Soludo noted that it is the first time in Nigeria's history that such a significant number of governors have backed a sitting president. He urged for the unification of progressive forces across the country, emphasizing the need for continuity in the reform program to achieve accelerated and broadly shared economic prosperity.
