Harga RON97, RON95 tanpa subsidi turun 5 sen, diesel turun 10 sen

Malaysia's fuel prices, including RON97, RON95 without subsidies, and diesel, have decreased by 5 sen and 10 sen per liter respectively starting tomorrow, the Finance Ministry announced. RON97 will be sold at RM5.10 per liter, RON95 without subsidies at RM4.62 per liter, and diesel without subsidies at RM5.17 per liter until October 21.

Meanwhile, RON95 under the BUDI95 scheme remains at RM1.99 per liter, and diesel under the BUDI Diesel initiative remains at RM2.10 per liter under the BUDI Diesel initiative, according to the Finance Ministry. Subsidized petrol under the Petrol Pricing Control System (SKPS) will continue at RM2.05 per liter, while subsidized diesel through the Diesel Pricing Control System (SKDS) will still be sold at RM2.15 per liter.

The Ministry of Finance said that despite Brent crude oil prices staying above USD100 per barrel, fuel product supplies in the Temasek market showed signs of recovery as China allowed exports of crude oil again this month, while South Korea continued to supply petroleum products to the Temasek market. However, the growing regional conflicts, including the recent attack in Saudi Arabia, increased the risk of supply disruptions and higher petroleum prices, the Ministry added.

The uncertainty in prices is expected to continue in the short term, the Ministry said in a statement. The Madani Ministry vowed to continue protecting the people and businesses from the impact of this global uncertainty, with RM40 billion set aside for fuel subsidies next year, as announced in the 2027 Budget.
