70mai 4K A900 Ultra dash cam review: potent performance from twin cameras
Affordable mid-range dash cams don't always impress, but the 70mai 4K A900 Ultra dash cam delivers cracking footage from both of its units.
The 70mai 4K A900 Ultra is a dual-camera dash cam that offers impressive 4K video recording capabilities in both the front and rear-facing units. Each camera is equipped with Sony Starvis 2 IMX678 sensors, resulting in high-resolution footage suitable for both day and night scenes. The front camera boasts a 130-degree field of view and shoots at 30fps in 4K, while the rear camera also captures 4K at 30fps with a 130-degree field of view.
Both cameras feature a 3-inch rear-facing screen for easy setup and footage review. The dash cam also includes a built-in GPS, buffered emergency recording, and 4G Cloud+ 2.0 compatibility for live view, remote playback, and two-way voice communication. Other notable features include Wi-Fi 6 for quick file management, hands-free voice control, and supercapacitor technology for durable performance across temperature ranges.
The dash cam is compact and attaches to the windshield glass using supplied adhesive pads. In the US, it is priced at $299.99, while in the UK, it is priced at £231. The 70mai 4K A900 Ultra is a comprehensive solution for vehicle surveillance, with optional accessories such as the 70mai Battery Pack Mini for extended parking surveillance without draining the vehicle's battery.
