Trump says he does not believe China and Russia are helping Iran ‘at all’

King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh remained closed on Monday after a series of deadly Houthi missile attacks. Saudi Arabia's forces claimed to have shot down one ballistic missile, while the Houthis insisted they had targeted the airport precisely. Riyadh's civil aviation authority extended the airport closure until October 17 for safety checks.

The Saudi-led coalition announced they would destroy any additional Houthi missiles. The attack resulted in 486 cancelled flights from Saudi Arabia, with many more expected to be canceled on Tuesday. Indian citizen Mohammed Yousuf Ali died in the assault, and three Indians remain in intensive care.

He claimed the war would end "very soon" and that oil prices would plummet. The UK accused Iran of orchestrating a suspected plot against RAF Fairford, sanctioning two Iranians and summoning the Iranian ambassador.

A tanker was struck by an unknown projectile near the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran's military advisor stated Tehran aims to control and limit traffic through the strait. Iran is now reviewing a US proposal to reopen the strait, with Qatar and Pakistan mediating. Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei warned that regional data cables, data centers, and AI facilities could be targeted if the war resumes.
