Tribe in Jersey team for World Cup Challenge final round
Batter Asa Tribe is named in Jersey's 14-man squad for the final round of the World Cup Challenge League A in Nairobi later this month.
Jersey's cricket team has selected Asa Tribe for the final round of the World Cup Challenge League A, despite the right-handed batter not playing for Jersey since July 2025. The 22-year-old has been a regular for England Lions and Glamorgan in the meantime. Head coach Neil McRae aims to build on the experience gained from competitive 50-over fixtures during the summer.
Jersey, currently topping the league, aims for ODI status and a T20 World Cup place. The squad will play against Papua New Guinea, Kenya, Kuwait, Denmark, and Qatar in Nairobi, with the first match kicking off on October 23.
