The Odyssey Is Up for Preorder, Including a $300 Collector’s Edition
Preorders are live for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, including a limited-edition steelbook edition, as well as a $300 collector's giftset.
Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is now available for preorder on 4K UHD Blu-ray at Amazon. The film is set to release on November 17 and comes in two editions: a limited-edition steelbook for $39.99 and a premium giftset for $299.99. Both editions include the movie on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and digital platforms, and feature a bonus disc with a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film.
The steelbook edition is distinguished by its exclusive steelbook case. The Odyssey, starring Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, and others, was released in July and received rave reviews and massive box office success, surpassing $1 billion internationally. The film follows the epic journey of Odysseus as he returns home to Ithaca, facing various challenges along the way, including encounters with a Cyclops, Sirens, and the witch Circe.
Critics have praised the film for its faithful adaptation of Homer's poem, its stunning visuals, and its ability to evoke a sense of horror, existential angst, and humor.
