Save 20% Off the New Steelseries Aeon Pro Wireless Gaming Controller With Infinite Battery Life
This controller is shaping up to be one of the best wireless PC and Xbox gaming controllers on the market.
SteelSeries has just launched its latest Aeon Pro wireless gaming controller for both PC and Xbox systems. Customers can purchase it on the Steelseries store for $209.99, after receiving a 20% discount using the coupon code "SSPOUT20". The controller showcases top-notch build quality and features, making it an ideal choice for hardcore gamers.
This is SteelSeries' first high-end professional-grade controller, and it's turning out to be one of the finest PC and Xbox controllers ever. IGN's Bo Moore has shared his initial review, and he's impressed with the Aeon Pro's performance.
One of the standout features of the Aeon Pro is its infinite battery system. It utilizes a hot-swappable battery setup, similar to the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro and Omni headsets. This means there's always a fully charged battery ready to go, eliminating any downtime due to battery life.
Another impressive feature is the controller's QuickSwitch system, which allows for seamless and instant switching between Xbox, PC, or mobile devices without any re-pairing or re-plugging. The dock acts as a hub for charging the batteries, connecting to the Xbox and PC via USB Type-C ports and to mobile devices via Bluetooth.
The Aeon Pro boasts Hall Effect joysticks and mechanical switches on almost all its buttons, including the d-pad. These Hall Effect sensors provide superior precision and sensitivity, with no moving parts prone to wear or stick drift. The controller offers 16 programmable buttons with satisfying clicky mechanical switches, including four XYAB buttons, four trigger buttons, and four rear paddle switches.
Two of the trigger buttons also have adjustable travel length, allowing users to choose between full travel or a hair trigger.
Modular thumbsticks are also included in the package, with four different styles available - convex, concave, standard length, and long. These thumbsticks simply snap onto either joystick position, adding a premium touch to the controller.
While the Aeon Pro is priced at $209.99, it's evident that the controller offers a wealth of advanced technology. For heavy gamers who use their controllers extensively, investing in the Aeon Pro is undoubtedly worth it.
