Report: Colts sign veteran tight end to 53-man roster

The Indianapolis Colts have added veteran tight end Pharaoh Brown to their active roster, according to Adam Schefter. Brown was signed to the practice squad on August 6th. During his appearances in all three preseason games, he caught two passes for eight yards. Of the 87 total snaps he had, 46% were as a blocker, as reported by PFF. Prior to his release during roster cutdowns, Brown was signed to the practice squad. The Colts acquired the veteran TE from their practice squad and placed him on the active roster.
