QS Top-100 US Universities to Give Fully-Funded Scholarships to Pakistani Students

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has unveiled an opportunity for Pakistani and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) nationals to pursue doctoral studies at the world's top 100 universities in the United States. The US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project is offering fully-funded PhD scholarships with an annual stipend of $19,000, tuition fee support, and health insurance coverage.

The scholarships are available for the 2027 academic session, with the application deadline for the Spring/Summer intake on October 30, 2026, and Fall intake on March 30, 2027.

Eligible students must be Pakistani or AJK nationals, holding at least a four-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent. They must not have a second or third division in their academic careers and must not be receiving any other scholarship at the time of application. Candidates should secure admission to a US university ranked within the specified range and meet the minimum score requirements for GRE or HAT.

Once admitted, students must apply through HEC's official online portal, providing their academic qualifications, research interests, professional experience, and details of their proposed studies.
