Police confiscate robot that groped 16-year-old girl, probe whether young men were at the controls

German authorities launched an investigation into potential sexual harassment after a robot, allegedly controlled by two young men, allegedly made inappropriate physical contact with a 16-year-old girl during a night-time incident in Cologne, Germany. The robot, which was found in a vehicle, was reportedly equipped with a fake mustache and was dressed in a white tank top, black sweatpants, and gold chain and sunglasses.

Videos show the robot bumping into women and making sexual gestures, while the young men accompanying the robot repeatedly shouted at it and pulled it away. Police have not charged the two boys, but they are considered suspects, and investigators are examining whether the robot's movements were preprogrammed or controlled in real time.
