Padres not in NLCS, but fans of team should like what they see

The San Diego Padres, known for their pennant-winners, found themselves on the losing side of the National League Championship Series this year. Their most recent playoff run ended against the Philadelphia Phillies, who went on to defeat San Diego in the World Series. The Padres had high hopes for a strong season with established players like Manny Machado and Xander Bogaerts, as well as rising stars Fernando Tatis Jr. and Jackson Merrill.

However, the Milwaukee Brewers emerged victorious in the NLDS, securing a 3-1 series win. Fans of the Padres must now watch the Brewers face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. The Brewers took the first game of the series, thanks to Jacob Misiorowski's dominant performance against Dodgers ace Tarik Skubal. Fans will now await the outcome of the next three games, hoping for a Padres comeback.
