The 90-minute film will also be available as a three-part series.
A new documentary is in the works to tell the story of the four founding members of the Jackson 5 — Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Tito Jackson. The feature film, directed by Benjamin Hirsch, will explore the brothers' journey from their humble beginnings in Gary, Indiana, to their rise as one of the world's most successful and influential boy bands.
The three-year production of the film includes final interviews with Tito Jackson, observational filming, rare archive footage, and recollections from the siblings about their father/manager, Joe Jackson's influence on their lives. The film will be available both as a feature and a three-part series, and is currently being shopped to international buyers at the Mipcom trade show in Cannes, France.
