Netradyne expands AI Agent lineup for fleet safety teams

Netradyne, a San Diego-based company specializing in driver safety and fleet management, has recently expanded its lineup of AI agents for fleet safety teams. The update introduces a Campaign Agent for driver coaching, a builder tool for creating custom agents, and conversational answers drawn from live fleet data. These capabilities are available to Netradyne customers in the U.S. and Canada.
Avneesh Agrawal, CEO of Netradyne, stated that fleet teams are overwhelmed with configuring reports and piecing together answers. The new agents provide a scalable solution for managers to draw on Netradyne Intelligence while maintaining control. Within a month of the agent's release, customers had already created over 250 agents.
The San Diego-based company unveiled Netradyne Intelligence in June, which is built on more than 30 billion miles and 150 billion minutes of real-world driving data. Agrawal mentioned that while fleets had invested in visibility into their operations, the real challenge now is execution. Coaching and incident response agents were available at launch, followed by a Collision Management Agent and an MCP connector in August.
The latest addition, the Campaign Agent, allows managers to turn coaching into a competition by setting safety priorities and driver groups. The agent runs scoring, daily standings, and driver updates, comparing before, during, and after campaign results to identify improvements and areas needing support.
Additionally, the new Collision Management Agent handles incidents from first report to resolution, while the Coaching Agent, introduced in the June release, identifies drivers needing attention based on managers' goals, prepares each session with driver history, top alerts, and a recommended improvement plan. Managers can build their own agents by describing the desired action in plain language, selecting driver groups, conditions, and schedule, and the agent delivers findings and recommendations in the Netradyne portal or by email.
Furthermore, managers can ask questions about their fleet and receive answers from live data. Follow-up questions provide context, such as changes and reasons, broken down by driver, group, behavior, or time period. These answers can be turned into scheduled agents. The MCP connector, which securely bridges fleet-specific insights to AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude, enables teams to ask questions and build agents within those platforms.
Netradyne will showcase these capabilities at the American Trucking Associations' Management Conference & Exhibition, taking place from October 17-20 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C.
