Meta Launches Muse Wonder & Muse Wonder Full Advanced AI Models: Key Features & Pricing

Meta has introduced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, two models it calls its most capable to date, built for personal and professional AI agents. Meta has unveiled two of its most advanced AI models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, designed to power personal and professional AI agents. These models follow the launch of Muse Spark in April and the Muse personal AI agent in September. Meta claims that the development of these models began 14 months ago, with training taking place at its gigawatt-scale Prometheus data center.

Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full are marketed as powerful agents capable of handling tasks such as insurance claims, lease comprehension, and financial analysis. The company emphasizes two key features: Active Memory, which carries relevant context across conversations, and Active Focus, which keeps the model working on a difficult task by trying other approaches, recovering from errors, and checking in before taking important actions.

The models boast a 1 million-token context window and can process text, images, video, audio, and PDF inputs, with text output. Meta's new family of frontier models, Muse Wonder, features its strongest safeguards against misuse in areas like chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and cyber threats. According to Meta's own benchmark chart, the models are compared against Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Fable 5.1, and GPT-6 Astra.

Independent tester Artificial Analysis scored Muse Wonder Full at 56 on its Intelligence Index, tying Claude Sonnet 5.5 and outperforming GPT-6 Astra, Gemini 4 Argon, and Claude Fable 5.1. Only Claude Opus 5.5 scored higher, at 58.

Muse Wonder is currently available through the Meta Model API, Muse Code, and OpenRouter, with a price of $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens. Muse Wonder Full, however, does not have a public API and is only available to Muse Code subscribers on the $50-a-month Power and $200-a-month Maximum plans. Meta plans to integrate Wonder into its Muse app, initially rolling it out to subscribers and later using it to create specialized models for all Muse users.

Linus Torvalds On Why AI Works For Him

An anonymous reader quotes a report from ZDNet: Many open-source developers still dislike AI. The latest example is System76 banning AI-generated content from its COSMIC desktop.

  • Linus Torvalds enjoys using AI tools in programming.
  • He shifted from negative view to appreciating AI's value.
  • AI aids in creating modern user interfaces and incremental improvements.

Anthropic says new measures like preserved thinking in Fable 5.1 and Opus 5.5 have reduced data harvesting through distillation attacks by about 90% to 99% (Anthropic)

In recent months, we've made substantial progress on reducing the effectiveness of distillation attacks on Claude using new methods, as we outline in this blog.

  • Anthropic implemented preserved thinking in Fable 5.1 and Opus 5.5 to reduce data harvesting.
  • Distillation attacks effectiveness lowered 90-99% due to new measures.
  • Concerned about illicit distillation for potential severe consequences in critical sectors.
