Liverpool could trigger Premier League bombshell after massive Arsenal mistake

Arsenal appear to be making a significant error in their midfield strategy, as they seem to be overlooking the potential of Martin Zubimendi. The Spanish player joined the club a year ago, yet he has not started any of their five Premier League games this season and hasn't even come on as a substitute against Leeds United. This apparent misstep could present Liverpool with a golden opportunity to sign the talented defensive midfielder.

Liverpool currently finds itself struggling with their midfield structure, and it may be time for a change. The Reds have been hesitant to deviate from the 4-2-3-1 system, which they've been using since Jürgen Klopp took over. However, given the recent poor performance of Arsenal's midfield, it seems that a shift might be in order.

Martin Zubimendi, a key player for Arsenal last season, has been overshadowed by Declan Rice's superior performances. His excellent defensive record and overall contribution have been instrumental in the team's title-winning campaign. Switching to a 4-2-3-1 system might open up more space and make the defense more vulnerable. This transition could make Zubimendi a perfect fit for the Liverpool midfield, ensuring a smooth integration with the existing attacking midfield options.
