José Mourinho: Villarreal's referee? One minute tells you all you need

José Mourinho, the coach of Roma, discussed his recent match against Villarreal at a press conference. He stated that they had to perform exceptionally well to secure the three points, as they had drawn against two of Italy's strongest teams in their first two games. Mourinho expressed his confidence in the referees, mentioning only that the name of the referee at Villarreal was known three weeks in advance, which made him uncomfortable.

He also addressed the fear of players making tackles in La Liga, stating that he didn't believe players were particularly apprehensive. Mourinho shared that his return to Roma was welcomed, as he had always been an avid follower of both Inter and Roma. He described himself as someone who connects with the club and players, always working in their best interest.
