Jimmy Kimmel Hits Back After Trump Calls Him a ‘Loser’ for Rally Size Crack: ‘Let’s Do It Again’
"Of all the many moronic and criminal words and deeds I detailed, that's what bothers him?!" the late night host adds The post Jimmy Kimmel Hits Back After Trump Calls Him a ‘Loser’ for Rally Size Crack: ‘Let’s Do It Again’ appeared first on TheWrap .
Jimmy Kimmel retaliated against Donald Trump after the president labeled him a "loser" for mocking the size of Kimmel's television audience. During Monday's segment on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," Kimmel addressed Trump's comments from a Saturday rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, where Trump referred to Kimmel as "a loser" and "crooked." Trump alleged that Kimmel claimed Trump had a "sparsely attended rally," which prompted Kimmel's retort, "Do I really sound like that? Be honest."
Kimmel pointed out that his critique of the empty seats at Trump's rallies was met with outrage from the president. He stated, "Well, in that case, let's do it again. There were many empty seats at the rally. So many empty seats." The "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" team then displayed footage of empty seats at Trump's event, reinforcing Kimmel's point.
The White House representative declined to comment on the matter when approached by TheWrap. Notably, Kimmel isn't the only individual to face Trump's ire for covering his rallies. Last week, Trump called for media to be arrested for reporting about his events, accusing them of dishonesty and presenting an inaccurate portrayal of attendance figures.
