Indore Garba Traffic Diversions From October 14, Heavy Vehicles And Buses Rerouted Between 5 PM And 1 AM

Indore traffic authorities have announced diversions for heavy vehicles and buses during Navratri garba events from 5 pm to 1 am, starting Wednesday. These restrictions, enforced in Traffic Zone-2, aim to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure public safety. Officials may also reroute other small commercial vehicles, contingent on traffic conditions.

Heavy vehicles exiting from Lavkush Square, Bapat Square, and Scheme Number 136 are required to take Dewas Naka and Manglia Central Point, bypass Bypass Road, and proceed toward Khandwa or Mumbai. These vehicles are prohibited from traveling from Dewas Naka toward Bombay Hospital, Radisson Square, and Star Square. Vehicles originating from Khandwa and Devguradia must use the Bypass Road and traverse through Manglia Central Point and Dewas Naka to reach Bapat Square and Lavkush Square, from where they can continue to Ujjain and Dhar.

Passenger buses exiting from Radisson Square and the Bypass Road area are barred from heading towards Star Square and Labhganga. Sleeper buses from Bypass Road must follow DPS School to the Golden Leaves Hotel junction. Designated passenger boarding points have been established near the junction. Passenger buses and electric buses from Radisson Square will take the route via Bombay Hospital and Dewas Naka to Manglia Toll Plaza, with their boarding point near the toll plaza.

Vehicles carrying participants and spectators from the Kanadiya side must enter the venue through Patel Nagar Cut, Best Price, Labhganga, and RE-2 Road. Parking on the highway service road is prohibited, and vehicles are not permitted to enter the venue directly from the service road. The traffic police urge motorists to follow prescribed diversion routes, adhere to traffic signs and instructions from on-duty police personnel, and park exclusively in designated parking areas.

The police appeal for compliance with these measures to ensure a safe and seamless traffic experience during the Navratri garba celebrations.
