India issues fresh advisory for citizens in Saudi Arabia amid Houthi attacks: Stay indoors, don’t share videos
India has urged its nationals in Saudi Arabia to remain calm and vigilant after an attack on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport killed an Indian citizen. Four injured Indians remain in intensive care, while flight suspensions and airport disruptions continue amid regional tensions.
India has issued a fresh advisory for its citizens in Saudi Arabia due to ongoing security concerns. The Indian Embassy urged nationals to remain indoors, follow local authorities' instructions, and avoid sharing videos or news related to the attacks. The warning comes after a deadly assault on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport on October 10, which killed an Indian national and injured several others.
Operations at King Khalid International Airport were suspended following the attack to ensure safety and readiness. Several Indian airlines, including Air India, Air India Express, and IndiGo, suspended flights to and from the city until October 17. The Indian Embassy is monitoring the situation and providing support to injured Indians in hospitals.
