New Delhi, India - Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India's reliability and stability as a trusted ally in a world filled with uncertainty, during a Bloomberg event. He highlighted the importance of supply chains, energy, minerals, payment systems, and technology, which have become crucial in controlling others and creating chokepoints due to globalization.

Modi stressed that India's growth is achieved with the world and for the world, rather than at anyone's cost. He positioned India as a global economic and technological power that seeks to help other countries prosper, citing its 7.8% growth in the June quarter. The Prime Minister also highlighted India's strong fundamentals, financial resilience, and sustained reform drive, pointing to recent economic reforms such as GST, labour reforms, and efforts to simplify doing business.

Modi argued that the true measure of strength lies in creating opportunities for others, not in controlling them, and emphasized India's commitment to the principle of "power to empower." He mentioned the country's digital public infrastructure, affordable mobile data, digital payments, and direct benefit transfer as examples of how technology is expanding access to economic opportunities.
