Hulu's upcoming drama series, "The Land," set within the world of the Cleveland Browns, premiered on February 15, 2027. The show, described as a "high-stakes family football drama," stars Christopher Meloni as the coach of the Browns, who must balance developing a winning football team with the challenges of coaching his own son, a cocky and egotistical rookie quarterback.
Mandy Moore, Chace Crawford, and William H. Macy also join the cast, with Meloni and Macy playing the Browns owner, Hal Durkin. While the series aims to provide an insider's look at the NFL, the first trailer has been met with mixed reactions, with many finding it unintentionally hilarious. The show seems to follow a predictable formula, with a dysfunctional family torn apart by the demands of the sport, ultimately learning to work together for the good of the team.
