How to complete The Emissary in Valor Mortis

The Emissary quest in Valor Mortis is a late-game objective in the game. To progress this quest, players must first obtain the Shield Transmutation ability. This ability is unlocked after visiting the university, which is located in the 9th area of the game, after the player has completed the Valley of Ashes.

Upon reaching the university, players can acquire the Shield Transmutation. This ability allows players to pass through poisonous clouds within the army camp, the final area in the game's quest sequence.

Once the player has acquired the Shield Transmutation, they can enter the army camp, cross the poisonous clouds, and interact with a peculiar corpse. This will initiate a mini-boss fight. After defeating this boss, the player can open a chest to retrieve the Perfect Copy amber. This amber, when equipped, increases the ranks of all Tier 1 and Tier 2 ambers already in the player's inventory.
