Former fromis_9 member Roh Ji-sun has shared a candid reflection on her 15-year career in the entertainment industry, just weeks after disclosing that she once struggled financially after leaving the K-pop girl group. On October 11, she posted a thumbnail from her appearance on Min Sae-rom's YouTube channel, accompanied by a detailed message discussing her time as an idol.
Roh explained that she attempted to encapsulate her 15 years, from age 14 to 29, in a 20-minute segment, but acknowledged that it was insufficient to cover all her experiences. She noted that there were moments when she felt like an adult and moments when she did not, as well as instances where she felt grateful and others that were challenging to comprehend.
Roh also touched upon how her time in the idol industry influenced her perspective on beauty and appearance, highlighting the industry's emphasis on visual aesthetics and the pressures placed on K-pop idols to maintain a certain image.
