Exclusive: Comedy Central announces Stand Up Selects, reveals new slate of comics
The A.V. Club can exclusively announce the new slate of comics in the new season of Comedy Central Stand Up Selects, along with the first set of the season from Ian Edwards.
Comedy Central has unveiled a fresh lineup of stand-up comics for its new digital series, Stand Up Selects. The channel is reviving its popular stand-up series, which previously featured comics such as Dylan Adler, Sherry Cola, and Brandon Wardell. The new roster includes up-and-coming talent, with Skyler Higley, a former writer for The Onion, making her debut.
Ian Edwards, whose set addresses the high cost of essentials like gas amid the Iran war, kicks off the season on October 13th. The series, produced in collaboration with Hoff Studios, will feature a new episode each week until January 2027. The complete line-up and Edwards' set are available for viewing.
