Enzo Maresca hits back at critics of Man City’s celebrations after Liverpool win: ‘Criticised for what?’
Some have suggested that Manchester City should not have celebrated their Premier League win over Liverpool
Enzo Maresca has stood up for his Manchester City players following criticism over their jubilant celebrations after a 3-0 win against Liverpool. The Italian manager and captain Ruben Dias were unapologetic, stating that their sole focus was on winning the match. Maresca questioned the criticism, asking, "Criticised for what? We won 0-3 at Anfield.
What do you want us to do?" Despite facing backlash from pundits and rivals, Maresca and Dias insisted that their celebrations were a reflection of their joy and happiness, both on the pitch and in the changing room.
