Fans will have the chance to purchase limited edition replica jerseys and t-shirts.
Coastal Carolina will showcase 1990s-inspired uniforms for their upcoming football game against Appalachian State. The school's annual "Wait Til You See This" game will feature a design aimed at capturing the aesthetic of the era that influenced sports, television, fashion and pop culture. The match will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN2.
Coastal Carolina's 90s-themed uniforms have been likened to the attire of the cast of "The Max" TV show, with fans eagerly awaiting the airing of "Yo! MTV Raps." The Chanticleers have sold limited edition "Coastal Carolina 90s" t-shirts and replica jerseys for sale. Coastal Carolina hopes the uniforms will help inspire a victory, as they are currently 2-4 on the season and 1-1 in the Sun Belt Conference.
