CDA Announces Jobs for Engineers

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad has announced the availability of eight Project Director positions for experienced civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers. These senior-level roles fall under Project Pay Scale PPS-10. The vacancies consist of six Project Director (Civil) positions and two Project Director (Electrical and Mechanical) positions.

Applicants must possess a relevant engineering degree, a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, and hold Professional Engineer registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). The age range for these positions is 40 to 50 years, with age relaxation available under government policy.

For the Project Director (Civil) positions, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrate experience in managing major infrastructure projects. Leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work in multidisciplinary construction environments. A master's degree in Construction Management or Project Management is considered an added qualification.

Similarly, for the Project Director (Electrical and Mechanical) positions, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 15 years of relevant experience in senior-level roles. They should also possess strong leadership abilities, communication skills, and experience in managing major building and infrastructure projects. A master's degree in Construction Management or Project Management is preferred.

Interested candidates must submit their applications online through the official CDA job portal within 15 days of the advertisement's publication. The online application process requires uploading scanned, attested copies of educational documents, professional experience certificates, a recent photograph, CNIC, and domicile certificate. Applicants must also provide the relevant pay order with their applications. Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.
