Bruins' Charlie McAvoy 'Excited' For Season Debut Against Sharks Following Suspension
Now back in action, Charlie McAvoy is excited to return to the ice and help out his teammates.
The Boston Bruins are set to welcome back Charlie McAvoy to their lineup following a six-game suspension for slashing Buffalo Sabres' Zach Benson during the playoffs in May. The 2016 NHL Draft pick, who has been practicing with his teammates, expressed excitement about returning to the ice and contributing to the team's success.
McAvoy, who has scored seven goals and contributed 25 assists during the 2017-18 season, emphasized the importance of getting back on the ice and playing alongside his Bruins comrades. He praised his defense partner Hampus Lindholm, noting that his defensive abilities open up offensive opportunities for McAvoy and the rest of the defensemen.
McAvoy, paired with Lindholm on the trip, is eager to make an immediate impact in Tuesday's game against the Sharks.
