Atlético Madrid has announced that a minute's silence will be observed before Kick-off in their upcoming Champions League match against Manchester United. The club's statement on Tuesday afternoon revealed that the tribute will be paid in memory of Doña Ana Merodio Borja, the mother of Atlético's captain Koke, and Borja Resurrección, the second coach of Juvenil A, who passed away this morning in Madrid. The club expressed their deepest condolences to the families and friends of the two individuals.
