Atletico Madrid beat Manchester United 2-0 as winless run continues
Michael Carrick's Man Utd continue to search for a win as Atletico win 2-0 in UEFA Champions League.
Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Manchester United may have their sights set on Antonio Conte as a potential replacement for Michael Carrick, ahead of their Champions League match against Atletico Madrid. The Italian journalist noted that United are still providing "time and confidence" to Carrick, but the arrival of a seasoned and successful manager like Conte has raised questions about Carrick's future.
Conte, who has secured six league titles, including a Premier League title with Chelsea, is reportedly "recharged" after his recent tenure at Napoli and is ready for a new challenge. If Carrick's situation becomes uncertain, Romano also mentioned that two other notable managers, Julian Nagelsmann and Eddie Howe, could be considered by United.
