Apple is offering a rare deal, allowing customers to save $120 on the H2-powered AirPods Max 2 at Amazon. As of October 12, the AirPods Max 2 are priced at $429, down from the original $549 price tag. This 22% discount cuts the cost by $120, making these premium over-ear headphones more accessible to a wider audience. The main upgrade in the AirPods Max 2 is the new H2 chip, which significantly improves Active Noise Cancellation capabilities.
This chip also enables smart features such as Adaptive Audio, which adjusts noise control based on the user's environment, and Conversation Awareness, an automatic volume reduction when the wearer is speaking. Additional features cater to power users and frequent travelers, including real-time Live Translation powered by Apple Intelligence and the ability to connect to USB-C devices for charging and lossless audio.
The hardware maintains Apple's luxury standard, featuring a breathable knit-mesh canopy, custom memory foam ear cushions, and 20 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation. With this substantial price reduction available on Amazon, this could be the perfect time to invest in Apple's flagship over-ear headphones.
