Riftbound: Radiance Rarest Cards - Riot Games Music Crossovers Dominate the Set
Riftbound's fifth set, Radiance, features rare showcase cards inspired by Riot Games Music acts: Heartsteel, True Damage, and K/DA. Check out all of the Overnumbered cards in the set along with the rarest card in the entirety of the TCG.
The upcoming Riftbound set, Radiance, brings exciting new cards and collectibles for players to chase. Riftbound executive producer Chengran Chai explains that they layer collectibility onto playability, only adding extra features like Alt Art, Overnumbered, and Signature cards once the mechanics are finalized. Standout rare cards in Radiance include Riot Games music crossovers such as Overnumbered Heartsteel cards, SP K/DA cards, and Overnumbered Ekko, Revolutionary.
These Overnumbered cards come in Signature variety, which are the rarest pulls in addition to a single Ultimate Rare in the set. Chai revealed that the team knew they wanted to incorporate music towards the end of the year and leaned into it early on. The designs of the Overnumbered cards are inspired by K-pop photo cards, complete with bright motifs, stickers, and Y2K elements.
The Heartsteel Overnumbered Signature cards are even more unique, as they are signed by the characters themselves. With a rarity of approximately 1 in 4,000 booster packs, the Ultimate Rare card, Battlefield: Packed Amphitheater, stands out as the rarest in all of Riftbound's main sets. The in-person foiling and texturing of these cards truly elevates their appearance, making them a must-have for collectors.
Other Overnumbered and Alt Art cards are also available for players to chase, like the Overnumbered Mordekaiser. Radiance is set to debut at local game stores on October 16, with booster boxes, packs, and vaults available for purchase on October 23.
