RAM is pricey, so take this 32GB DDR5-6000 kit for $68 off in Newegg's big computing sale

Memory prices remain exorbitant, making any discount a welcome relief, and Newegg is currently offering a $68 discount on a 32GB DDR5-6000 kit through its major computing sale. This V-Color Manta XSky 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM kit is priced at $460 (down from $528) with the code GTWF84. RAM continues to be one of the most expensive components in a PC build, and this is the cheapest this memory kit has been in the past 30 days, even with Newegg's limited-time discount code included.

The Manta XSky kit consists of two 16GB DDR5 modules operating at 6000MHz (PC5-48000) with CL30 timings (30-38-38-96) at 1.35V. It features an AMD EXPO profile, switches to DDR5-4800 base speed if needed, and includes RGB lighting. Newegg provides free shipping and a lifetime limited warranty for the deal. For the full discount, use code GTWF84.

Why this recommendation? DDR5-6000 CL30 is typically a good choice for AMD Ryzen systems, and the EXPO profile enables easy BIOS setup. The 32GB capacity is suitable for gaming and general use, and Newegg highlights this price as the lowest in 30 days. This discount represents a $48 (9%) reduction from Newegg's $527.99 price, with a "Lowest Price in 30 Days" badge indicating it's a good deal.

However, this kit may not be ideal for Intel systems or those who prefer a non-RGB option, and the $20 promotional code may not be available for long. Should you buy it? Absolutely if you're building or upgrading an AMD system and need 32GB of DDR5-6000 RAM, and don't want to wait as prices remain high. Otherwise, skip this kit if you have an Intel system, don't want RGB lighting, or can wait for lower prices. Check out all desktop memory options at Newegg.
