Lauren Price, the unified welterweight world champion, will defend her titles against Michaela Kotaskova on November 20 at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff. The fight will be broadcast live on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer. Price, who previously defeated Stephanie Pineiro Aquino in April, expressed excitement about fighting in her home city.
She believes she is the best welterweight on the planet and aims to deliver a memorable performance. Kotaskova, a WBF titleholder with a 15-fight professional record, is the current WBF champion and enters the bout undefeated at welterweight. She acknowledges Price's achievements but is determined to claim the titles as her career-defining victory.
The undercard features Welsh featherweight Rhys Edwards challenging Scotland's Lee McGregor for the WBA continental title, and middleweight Kyran Jones from Cardiff facing Liverpool's Sean Arkwright.
