Premier League star, Murillo, eyed by Liverpool as their next Virgil van Dijk, the club's most important defender. Liverpool, led by captain Van Dijk, has won numerous trophies since his joining from Southampton. At 35, his prime time may be ending soon, prompting speculation about his replacement. Nottingham Forest's Murillo is seen as the ideal successor due to his experience, left-footed distribution, and aerial presence.
While the club's interest in Murillo was previously documented, his inclusion in Liverpool's plans is now more likely as Van Dijk's contract nears its end.
