‘Pick it up’: Voice from above stuns Greater Noida man dumping garbage on street

In Greater Noida, a man was caught on camera dumping garbage beside a wall in Sector Beta 1 around 10.05 pm on October 9. The Sector Beta 1 Residents Welfare Association reported the incident. As the man approached with a child, he attempted to dispose of the waste near a wall. However, his actions were not unnoticed. A person monitoring the CCTV cameras quickly used the public announcement system to call out to the man, urging him to pick up the waste.

The CCTV footage, now viral, shows the man appearing startled after hearing the announcement. He scans his surroundings, trying to locate the source of the voice. Upon hearing the announcement again, he is warned that a fine would be imposed the next morning if he did not remove the garbage. Eventually, the man complies and picks up the waste, leaving the area.

It is unclear whether he took the garbage back home or disposed of it at a proper collection site. The video has garnered attention on social media, with users praising the initiative and suggesting similar measures in other areas where dustbins are frequently targeted.
