(Image Facebook) KUALA LUMPUR: A 19-year-old unskilled worker, F Alan Stevekumar, appeared before the Kuantan Magistrate Court on charges of killing a Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah prosecutor, M Elisa Jonova, on October 6.

F Alan Stevekumar did not have legal representation and only pleaded guilty after the charge was read out before Magistrate Tuan Ruzaini Tuan Lah, but no plea was recorded. Alan Stevekumar is charged with the murder of M Elisa Jonova, 19, at a house in Jalan Air Putih here between 4:32 and 4:55 am on October 6. The charge was based on Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries a sentence of death or imprisonment for 30 to 40 years and a minimum of 12 counts, if not punishable by death.

Pahang Prosecution Officer, Sabri Othman, requested the court to set a retrial date to obtain the post-mortem examination report and toxicology test results. The retrial was set for November 12. On October 6, Elisa Jonova was found dead, believed to have been killed by her ex-boyfriend at a house in Jalan Air Putih at 4:32 am.
