The Indiana Pacers are preparing for the 2026-27 season, with a focus on the power forward position led by veteran and four-time NBA All-Star Pascal Siakam. The starter in this group is Siakam, who has been an invaluable asset to the team since joining Indiana during the 2023-24 season. He provides veteran experience and leadership, especially important as Tyrese Haliburton returns from injury.
Siakam is the primary scoring option for Indiana when Haliburton is out, demonstrating his ability to handle high levels of offensive responsibility. With Haliburton healthy, the Pacers aim to guide the team back to its former self through Siakam and Siakam's defensive skills, scoring consistency, and leadership.
