Olivia Rodrigo Teases a Potential Pop Collaboration: ‘Olivia Does Remixes Now’
The pop star shared a glimpse of a recording session to her Instagram Story, sparking speculation about a possible team-up with a fellow musician.
Olivia Rodrigo has sparked excitement among pop fans by teasing a potential collaboration with Chappell Roan. The singer shared a video on her Instagram Story, apparently showing a song session with Roan's voice in the background, saying "Ooh, Olivia does remixes now." While the artist has not confirmed any details or confirmed Roan's involvement, the speculation has already begun.
Notably, "Expectations," a track from Rodrigo's 2024 album "You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love," has been suggested as a potential remix candidate. The song's repetitive "I've got big expectations" lyrics have been noted as being reminiscent of Roan's vocal style, which has fueled fan theories. Both Rodrigo and Roan have previously supported one another's work, with Roan joining Rodrigo for her Daisy Chain Fields festival and Roan previously opening for Rodrigo on her GUTS World Tour.
