Kwabre East Assembly Commissions 3-Unit KG Block, Mechanised Borehole For Yasore

On a recent occasion, the Kwabre East Assembly in Ghana proudly unveiled a 3-unit KG block, along with a mechanized borehole equipped with a 5,000-litre polytank and concrete stand, for the Yasore community. The construction was funded by the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF). The Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Joseph Amankwah, disclosed that the land had already been designated for educational purposes, prompting the Assembly to initiate the project.

Following the unveiling, the responsibility of enrolling students now falls to the Education Directorate, who are responsible for officially inaugurating the facility.

Mr. Amankwah expressed his confidence that the primary and junior high school blocks would soon commence, and urged the teachers to remain patient while the children adapt to the new environment. He also encouraged the Education Directorate to prioritize the employment of experienced teachers for the newly commissioned facility.

In his parting remarks, Mr. Amankwah called upon the residents of Yasore to embrace the project and safeguard the facility, while ensuring their children attend the institution to kickstart the enrollment process.

The Municipal Director of Education, Nana Adu Mensah Asare, lauded the Assembly for their generous contribution to education within the community. He emphasized that education serves as the foundation for progress in every community and lauded the Assembly for their continuous support through providing furniture and assistance during mock examinations. Nana Asare further pointed out that classroom blocks alleviate overcrowding in classrooms, thus improving the quality of education for the students.

Additionally, Obrempong Nana Poku Kyeretwie, the representative of the Queen Mother of Ashanti, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Kwabre East Assembly for their timely completion of the project. He assured the Assembly of the community's commitment to supporting the enrollment of newly admitted pupils and urged the Assembly to continue expanding the school by adding facilities from Primary One to Six, including an extra Junior High School block, to better serve the community.
