Joe Burrow sends urgent message to Bengals on fixing mistakes after beating Dolphins

Joe Burrow delivered a clear message to the Cincinnati Bengals following their 31-24 victory over the Miami Dolphins, urging the team to rectify their errors and mistakes. This seventh season with the Bengals came as the team sought to break their three-consecutive losing streak in the playoffs, which had been due to various setbacks, including player injuries.

Cincinnati had started the season on a positive note, securing three wins out of their initial five games. Their latest triumph over Miami was a testament to their playoff aspirations.

Despite the win, Burrow emphasized the need for smarter play, pointing out several fumbles that occurred in the red zone and a few personal fouls that affected their field position and granted the Dolphins crucial points. The quarterback underscored these blunders as areas that the team must address to rise back into contention for a championship. "We got to be smarter," Burrow said following the game, according to reporter Mike Petraglia.

The Bengals showcased their strength as a formidable contender throughout the game, controlling most of the action in the first half and leading 21-7 at halftime. The Dolphins managed a late comeback effort in the fourth quarter, but the Bengals were successful in staving off the rally and earned the crucial road victory. Burrow demonstrated his explosive prowess as a quarterback, completing 23 out of 32 passes for 190 yards and four touchdowns.

Samaje Perine, the running back, contributed significantly with 14 carries for 68 yards and added two receptions for a touchdown.
