Jerebu: Sekolah di Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Putrajaya tutup esok

All schools in Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, and Putrajaya will close tomorrow following the outbreak of violence, according to Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek. The closure also includes schools in several areas of Selangor and Pahang, such as Hulu Langat, Petaling Perdana, Kuala Langat, Sepang, Kuantan, and Rompin. However, schools in Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, Kedah, Kelantan, Perlis, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Terengganu, Sabah, and Sarawak, as well as other areas in Selangor and Pahang, will continue to operate as usual.

Schools are advised to monitor outdoor activities based on air quality levels. Parents, students, and teachers are also advised to wear appropriate face masks when outside, especially in areas affected by the unrest. Fadhlina also urged the public to refer to official announcements from individual schools, district education offices, and respective state education departments for the latest information on school operations.
